Christoph Endres joined the Automotive group in January 2010. His PhD topic is "Instrumented Environment Car: Multimodal Fission and Media Allocation with Explicit Priority Management". Christoph studied computer science at the Saarland University. He received his diploma degree in 1999 for his thesis "Personal Picture Finder - a softbot for the world wide web". He worked at DFKI Wahlsters chair in numerous projects in the area of natural language search engines, P2P networks, computer game playing and ubiquitous computing.
From 2001 until 2003 he lived in the United States and became a Sun Certified Java Professional (SCJP and SCJD).
He currently works as a full time researcher at DFKI.
